The North American Electric Reliability
Corporation (NERC) was formed to ensure the reliability of the
bulk power system in North America. NERC develops and enforces reliability
standards; assess reliability annually via 10-year and seasonal forecasts;
monitor the bulk power system; and educate, train, and certify industry
personnel. NERC is a self-regulatory organization, subject to oversight
by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and governmental
authorities in Canada.

Reliability Policy: Facility Connection Requirements (FKE-FAC-001)
Purpose:
To avoid adverse impacts on reliability, Transmission Owners
must establish facility connection and performance requirements.
A. Facility Connection Requirements Attachment 1
Attachment 1 has been prepared to identify the technical requirements
for connecting new facilities to the FKEC transmission system.
It applies to new connections or substantial modifications
of existing generating units or transmission interconnections
as well as existing and new end user delivery points.

Reliability Policy: Facility Ratings Methodology (FKE-FAC-008)
Purpose:
To ensure that Facility Ratings used in the reliable planning
and operation of the Bulk Electric System (BES) are determined
based on established methodology or methodologies.
