provide free registration gifts and free lunch for registered members. Prior to
the meeting, FKEC will provide free musical entertainment by Micah Gardner in
the courtyard, along with children’s activities including a bounce house and
face painting. There will also be free exhibits and informative booths created
by FKEC’s departments with employees on hand to answer member questions.
FKEC’s meeting commences at 1 p.m. Speakers will include
David Ritz, president of the Board of Directors, along with a presentation by
CEO Scott Newberry.
The meeting will be followed by FKEC’s annual free prize
raffle for home electronics and small appliances in the auditorium.
Like this country's 900 other electric cooperatives, FKEC
holds an Annual Meeting for its members every spring. The meeting serves as a
forum to share the previous year's financial and business reports and to keep
members informed of progress in various power system upgrades and developments.
