Kim Jones (right) and her husband Billie have been happily married for nearly 19 years.

Meet Kim Jones...

Kim Jones was born in New York but her family moved to Key West when she was only three years old. When she was six, they moved again to the Upper Keys.

"I like to visit New York for the shopping and Broadway shows, but I consider the Florida Keys my home," Jones said.

Kim and her husband Billie have been together for 24 years and will celebrate their 19-year wedding anniversary in September 2008. After being married for 15 years, Kim and Billie had their son Paul who
turned three this month. Two mixed mutts, Rocky and Candy, complete their family.

"I have to say my greatest accomplishment is my son Paul," she says beaming with pride.

Outside of work, Jones enjoys growing orchids, boating, water activities and cooking. She has also been involved in volunteer work for the American Cancer Society. She says she and her family have seen first hand what cancer does to those affected by the disease, so she tries to help prevent others from suffering.

Kim Jones and her son Paul recently enjoyed his first trip to Disney World.

"I haven't had the time to volunteer recently because my son keeps me busy, but I always try to go to the American Cancer Society events and support them," Jones said.

Kim joined FKEC as a Billing Operator in 1986. She later transferred to Engineering where she worked as a Mapping Technician before she was recently promoted to Work Order Specialist. She also volunteers on the company's Employee Appreciation Committee.

"FKEC is like a family," says Jones about the cooperative. "Everyone knows and takes care of each other. I'm lucky because I really enjoy the people I work with and I enjoy learning new things and completing projects."
