FKEC and Marathon Youth Club are sponsoring the Second Annual Summer
Football Camp at Stanley Switlik Elementary School on June 22-24 from 9 a.m.
until noon each day. The camp focuses on teaching the fundamentals of
football to children ages 7-17.
The three-day camp offers young players the opportunity to train like the
pros with the pros. Tony Bryant -- Marathon High School graduate and
defensive end for the New Orleans Saints -- returns to help coach this
year's camp. Also returning to his alma mater is tight end for Florida
International University Joe Struyf and other university teammates.
The camp costs $40 per child and includes a camp t-shirt. To enroll, contact
camp founder/organizer and FKEC Crew Leader John Kornetti, 305-522-0066.
"We have a great team of coaches and supporters, and we hope to make this
year's camp an even greater success than last year's," Kornetti said.
