FKEC PLANS BRIEF OUTAGE WEDNESDAY MORNING

Florida Keys Electric Cooperative would like to notify its North Key Largo and Key Largo members about a brief power outage planned for the area between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Wednesday, January 25.

The outage, which should last a minute or less, is required to switch the power load from one transformer to another while FKEC performs annual equipment testing.

All homes and businesses in North Key Largo (including Ocean Reef) will be affected, as well as those on both the oceanside and bayside in Key Largo from Ocean Reef down to about the Tradewinds Plaza (Publix).

FKEC appreciates the patience of its members while this repair is in progress.
