FKEC PROMOTES RANDY CHANEY TO MANAGER OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Florida Keys Electric Cooperative congratulates Randy Chaney on his recent promotion to Manager of Human Resources.

Chaney joined the electric cooperative as Planning, Rate & Budget Analyst. Except for a brief time when he worked as Manager of Systems Information, he held the budget analyst position for over a decade. Chaney also maintained the cooperative’s website.

Prior to joining FKEC, Chaney managed a human resources department at a Generation and Transmission Electric Cooperative in Michigan.

In addition to his work at FKEC, Chaney is part owner of Advanced Web Applications, Inc. He is also on the Board of the Monroe County Education Foundation, is a mentor for “Take Stock In Children,” serves as the President of the Upper Keys Rotary Club and is an active member of the San Pedro Catholic Church.

Chaney and his wife Debbie reside in Islamorada and have two children.
