Downed Line Causes Power Outage in Marathon
At 3:20 p.m. on June 27, Florida Keys Electric Cooperative experienced a local distribution outage in Marathon.
A downed power line caused approximately 1,650 FKEC members to lose power. FKEC crews repaired the line and power was restored at 4:10 p.m. The outage affected consumers on the bayside from mile marker 49 to mile marker 52.5.
