Florida Keys Electric Cooperative's Marathon Office once again created a glittering centerpiece in the middle of Marathon with their outstanding holiday lights display.
FKEC's Marathon employees designed and decorated the facility's light show and then invited members and their children to the annual lighting ceremony on December 8. In addition to a big countdown and a giant switch for the children to pull, FKEC also invited Santa and Mrs. Claus to hand out candy canes to the children.
A new addition this year was a variety of sea creatures, created by Ken Elgersma. The flying fish display features a sequence with fish that jump and splash in a burst of blue lights.
