Florida Keys Electric Cooperative (FKEC) is a member-owned, non-profit cooperative serving the Upper and Middle Keys from the county line to the Seven Mile Bridge with headquarters in Tavernier and Marathon, Florida.
To submit plans for FKEC review, please complete the form below and attach the required drawings as a single PDF file. The following details must be included in your submittal:
- A comprehensive civil site plan showing all structures and sub-surface utilities.
- An electrical riser diagram and panel schedules.
- An architectural elevation view showing meter installation at or above jurisdictional authority requirements, including applicable, NEC compliant, elevated equipment access structures.
Typical review time ranges from 10 to 15 business days. Once the review process is complete, FKEC will return the PDF via the email you provide, indicating whether your plans have been approved or if further revisions will be required. Upon FKEC approval, stamped plans can be submitted to the appropriate city or county building department to continue the permitting process.
