As always, FKEC is committed to delivering reliable, safe, and affordable electric service to the Upper and Middle Keys—while continuing to provide the personalized, hometown service you expect as our valued member.
If you need assistance outside of FKEC business hours, emergency operators are available 24 hours, 7 days a week at (305) 852-2431, and our online services are always open. Our dispatch center and line crews also remain prepared to respond to power outages or any service emergency around the clock.

Please note the following important updates related to FKEC Engineering Services:
- Engineering Hours — Please schedule all inspections, utility coordination, and related requests from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday to ensure timely service.
- Requests Outside of Standard Hours — When possible, we will continue to support emergency needs and requests for inspections or utility work outside of regular office hours. However, please note that overtime call-out fees will apply to cover additional staffing and operational costs on Fridays, weekends, or holidays.
- Inspection Coordination Notice — To help us serve you efficiently, please coordinate all inspection requests at least 24 hours in advance. FKEC may be unable to accommodate requests with less than 24 hours notice, and expedited service charges may apply if fulfilled.
- Plan Review Timeline — There are no changes to our plan review schedule. The standard turnaround of 10 to 15 business days remains in effect.
