Out of a continued abundance of caution, Florida Keys Electric Cooperative offices in Tavernier and Marathon will be closed again on Thursday, October 10. While our doors will be closed, our employees in all departments will remain on standby should their assistance be needed. As always, FKEC’s online services and an emergency operator ((305) 852-2431) are available around the clock.
We remain prepared to address any potential storm impacts. FKEC is operating with increased staff in our 24-hour System Operations Control Center, and additional co-op linemen are on standby, ready to respond to any power outages. Please be aware that weather could create unsafe working conditions, possibly extending the duration of outages. Rest assured, as soon as conditions are safe, our crews will begin power restoration as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Reporting Outages: If you experience a power outage, please report it using our automated phone system at (305) 852-2431. This is the most efficient and accurate way to notify us of outages.
Tracking Power Outages: FKEC will do our best to inform you of significant power outages in the Upper and Middle Keys. However, you can also track the location and status of all outages —big or small— with our Live Power Outage Map.
