August 31, 2026 • 2:45PM — While working on an underground electrical feed in Plantation Key, three FKEC lineworkers experienced varying degrees of electrical shock. No serious injuries have been reported, and all three are undergoing evaluation at Mariners Hospital.
FKEC is investigating the incident to determine what occurred. Based on preliminary information, all appropriate safety procedures and protocols were being followed.
